Minimize
Rev. John A. Johnson, Senior Pastor, and his wife Linda have enjoyed 32 years of marriage. They have two children; Kristen (28) and Brian (age 24 when he left this world in April of 2009). After serving in the Air Force, where John and Linda met, the Johnsons moved to Texas in 1978 and returned to Texas once again after multiple life adventures including a corporate transfer to Denver followed by 8 years as owner/operators of a private business in Northern Minnesota. While "up North" the Johnsons helped organize, develop and operate a volunteer search and rescue unit and were both certified as Emergency Medical Technicians. John was honored to receive the JB Martin Homiletics award for 2006 and received his Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology in 2007. John comes to FLower Mound UMC from First UMC Blue Ridge, Texas. John's first love is flying and both John and Linda enjoy motorcycle trips

Rev. Carol Sparks, Associate Pastor, has been serving this congregation since the fall of 2002. Her ministry is highly relational and at times can be just a bit unconventional, marked by laughter, celebration, and sharing God's joy with others! Carol holds the Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at SMU, and a BGS from Northeast Louisiana University. Carol's life is full with four children, Kelly, Alexaundra, Jason, Chelsea, one granddaughter, Shelbey, and two precious dogs, Sophie and Annie.
