Proyecto Abrigo (Project Shelter)
Minimize

For many years, Flower Mound United Methodist Church has supported Proyecto Abrigo in Tierra Nueva, Mexico. Team members, including elementary-age children and their parents and grandparents, build cinderblock houses for families living in cardboard box/wooden crate/dirt floor homes held together with chicken wire. The trip takes place over a long weekend in the fall and spring, but is on hold until the situation in and around Juarez, Mexico stabilizes. Contact Jim Wise.
